"Searching for a horse can be an intimidating process which is why we are so thankful and so happy to have found the German Horse Center! Not only did they help us to find the perfect horse, yet they made the journey there easy, simple, and enjoyable.  

They GHC took care of all details including meeting us at the airport, arranging a car, pre-booking hotels, taking us to eat at nice restaurants (in beautiful locations!), and even visiting a tack shop. The whole process of finding a horse was completely stress-free and actually very fun! In addition, we were delighted that Stefan and Tanja took time to meet us for tea and talk about our experience. They are truly so kind!

All the horses I tried were absolutely fantastic and it was clear to see the remarkable training behind them all. I felt honored even to be able to ride so many incredible horses each of the three days, each horse matched very well with what I was looking for. Every partner we visited was helpful and honest. In fact, throughout the entire process the GHC dealt with everything in a sincere, organized, and honest manner, always updating us and being upfront about prices. In the end, it was a tough decision between three outstanding young horses.

After a quick and smooth vetting process, Champ arrived safety and is settled in at home in New York. Champ has now been with us for a month so far and not only has he become a barn favorite, yet he has only improved since I first rode him in Germany. It is remarkable that, as a six-year-old, Champ is confident, talented, and kind to his rider, always making up for my errors. The jumps come easily to him (as he is very scopey!), and even though it has only been a month so far, I have already learned so much and gain confidence and experience with every ride. I am truly so happy with him as there is not a horse out there more perfectly suited to what I was looking for! Moreover, Jens Wawrauschek, Champ's stable partner, and Stefan have made themselves available to answer all my questions even after the purchasing process and are always very open and communicative to ensure all is going well with Champ.

As Champ was part of the Frank Madden collection for the US, we were thrilled to spend a complimentary weekend with Frank to take lessons. In addition to being an incredibly successful and talented trainer, Frank and his family were warm and welcoming. His training was very helpful in allowing me to get to know Champ better and shaped our way to being successful in the future. Thank you!
