Here we would like to introduce our German Horse Center US Partners to you. These professionals are successful trainers and competitive riders, and are also experienced in importing horses to the USA.

 

They purchase GHC sport horses regularly for their own competitive ambitions as well as on behalf of their customers. This reliable and trust-based collaboration between US partners, customers and GHC has been successful for almost ten years.

 

 

The benefits for you

  • German Horse Center horses in the USA: Our US partners have German Horse Center show jumpers, hunters and equitation horses on offer. These have already been imported and successfully passed a vetting for the US market. You can test ride these horses directly in the US.
  • US advice for purchasing horses in Germany: Our US partners are happy to advise you on which GHC horses in Germany suit your requirements.
  • Expert training for you and/or your horse: Of course our US partners can also train you and/or your horses. They can also present your horses on shows.

Alexa Harris

Alexa Harris 

Alexa is a USHJA certified trainer who has produced top competitors in the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings on the A circuit.  Alexa is adept at helping her clients set goals and at bringing along both horses and riders in order to achieve these goals. Her accomplishments illustrate her dedication and commitment to her craft.

 

She has produced  horses that have been zone champions, Marshall and Sterling Finals tri color winners, Ocala winter circuit champions, and top ribbon winners at the best national horse shows (such as Harrisburg and The National Horse Show). She has shown the ability to choose and develop both top professional horses as well as junior/amateur horses. Many of these horses coming directly from German Horse Center!

Shelbi Heady

Shelbi Heady

Shelbi, USHJA certified trainer, is the Founding Partner and Head Trainer of Bijou Equestrian LLC in Brewster, New York. Bijou Equestrian specializes in the training and sales of quality, young, Hunter/Jumper horses. Throughout her career Shelbi has demonstrated a special eye for recognizing horses with great potential, and training them to compete successfully at the National and International levels.

 

As a junior, Shelbi rode under the guidance of top US professionals including Ralph Caristo, Don Stewart, and Chris Kappler. Her competition career highlights include 8th in the flat phase of the 2010 USET East Coast Finals, representing Zone 2 on the 2007 Jr Jumper Prix De States Team at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show, an invitation to represent Zone 2 at the FEI North American Youth Jumper Championships (NAJYRC) as well as a top 3 finish at the Syracuse Invitational Horse Show in the 1.50m high Pro-AM Jumpers. Shelbi then quickly established herself as a professional manager/trainer/rider at JT Farm, and other prominent farms in both New York and Connecticut. She founded Bijou Equestrian in 2012 and obtained a BS degree in Business Management from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business.

 

To add to her professional credentials, Shelbi is in the final stages of completing her USHJA Trainer Certification, and US Equestrian Federation (USEF) ‘r’ Judges Licensing under the mentorship of USEF ‘R’ judge Carol Molony. Her professional sponsorships include CWD Sellier and Franco Tucci Boots.

Morgan Kennedy

Morgan Kennedy

Morgan Kennedy is a US professional based in North Salem, New York and Wellington, Florida. Morgan competed as a junior with numerous championships in hunters, jumpers, and equitation. Riding with top US trainers such as Nancy Whitehead and Kent Farrington. She won the Children’s Hunter Championship at the Washington International Horse Show as well as helped her team earn team gold in the nations cup at Pony Jumper Finals.

 

In her professional career, Morgan has successfully trained and assisted in sales of many European imports. She has had many top placings from young jumper classes through 1.50 Grand Prix level, including winning the Saratoga Grand Prix of New York, reserve champion in the 7yo Young Jumper Championship at the Winter Equestrian Festival, and top ten in the 6yo Young Jumper Finals at WEF. Morgan now runs her own business, teaching students for all levels and specializing in the training and development of young horses for competition and sales.

Jill Pelzel

Jill Pelzel

Jill is a USHJA certified trainer from Colorado. She is an active member have the USHJA Zone 8 Committee as well as the President of the Colorado Hunter Jumper Association. Her students compete on a National, Zone, State, and Local level in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation as well as Collegiate programs.

 

She enjoys producing young horses as well as matching horses and riders. Her business, Fall River Farm, offers a large variety of horses for sale at every level of training and price point.

 

 

Jen Duffy

Jen is a USHJA certified trainer since 2012 and has been actively buying and selling horses for 20 years in Colorado. She is an active member of the Colorado Hunter Jumper Association and has been on the Board of Directors since 2014. Jen grew up in Virginia riding in Pony Club. During college she showed IHSA and worked at a sales barn catch riding whatever she could. Eventually Jen turned her passion into a career. It started small buying OTTBs for resale. Her OTTB Connor was 2011 CHJA Horse of the Year and Open Jumper Champion. In 2014 Jen began importing young prospects for resale as well as helping clients select and import their next partner. Jen works and rides out of  Fall River Farm as well as manages Colorado Horse Sales.
