Wilhelm Genn is a German show jumping rider and has been living in the USA since 1987. He is head trainer and owner of the “Rheinland Farm” training and sales stables in Lebanon, Ohio.

He has a great history of success: more than 100 wins in national and international Grand Prix competitions in Germany, Canada, Mexico and the USA. Wins and placings in World Cup show jumping competitions. In 2018 he won the World Cup competition of the North America league in Sacramento, California. His highlight was the qualification for the 2019 World Cup finals in Gothenburg.

He has also trained many of his students to become successful Grand Prix riders. Two of his students, furthermore, are his own talented sons Ryan and Theo.

Ryan, who did not begin riding until he was 16 years old, has meanwhile - now aged 27 - achieved 10 wins in Grand Prix competitions.

Theo, 29 years old, is also a professional rider and, in addition to many high placings, has won 15 Grand Prix competitions and achieved World Cup placings.

A family of successful riders with a sense for successful horses. Already now, the 2019 season has produced clear evidence:

  • Ryan, winner Grand Prix Lexington, Kentucky, May 2019
  • Theo, winner Grand Prix WEC Ohio, May 2019
  • Wilhelm, winner Grand Prix Chicago, when Wilhelm’s competitors included his sons Theo, 3rd place and Ryan, 5th place.
