New German Horse Center partner in southern Germany

New: eventing horses at German Horse Center

 

Another top partner, the Schmid Urspring breeding and training stables, located in the Swabian Alb hills in Germany, is now offering its horses for sale via German Horse Center. These consist mainly of eventing horses, so the selection of horses on offer will be ideally supplemented.

 

The Schmid family have bred and reared horses in Urspring since 1799. The business has modern rearing conditions with its 40 hectares of pastures providing ideal surroundings for keeping herds of horses. The training focuses primarily on eventing - the horses are introduced to the open country as soon as possible in order to provide optimal training conditions for calm and well-balanced sporting partners. Horses from the Schmid family qualify every year for the Southern German Championships and the National Championships, and in 2009 Schmid provided the champion and the 3rd and 4th placed horses amongst 4-year olds, as well as the runner-up and the 5th placed horse amongst 5-year olds in the Southern German Eventing Championships. Many of the horses bred and reared by Schmid are successful in international show jumping and eventing competitions.

Young and upcoming horses are already displaying top form in 2009:
Julia Schmid (30), a graduate in business administration and a double Pferdewirtschaftsmeisterin, in breeding and stable management as well as in riding, has trained several youngsters that have already achieved top placings in young horse tests this year.
Julia is successful in eventing, dressage and show jumping up to the advanced class. Her activities in the family-run business focus in particular on the training and sale of horses.

Julia can also now be booked globally via German Horse Center as an eventing trainer.
