Do you have any questions? You can find the answers here!
Once we receive your enquiry, we start by providing more detailed information on the horse or horses you enquired about. A member of the GHC team will then get back to you personally, typically within 24 hours, to follow up with a short conversation about your goals, experience level, and budget. From there, we put together a tailored selection of horses that genuinely match your profile. There are no automated responses and no generic listings, every enquiry is handled individually from the very first message.
At GHC, we act as a discreet intermediary between sellers and international buyers. Many of the horses we represent are still stabled with their current owners or trainers, who have requested confidentiality during the sales process. To protect their privacy, we present horses under a GHC-assigned online name. Once serious interest is established, the horse's full registered name, passport, and documentation are shared with the prospective buyer.
German Horse Center and its partners make every effort to set realistic prices. For us price transparency also means stating prices that are uniform and valid throughout the world. In many countries and cultures it is customary to leave plenty of leeway for negotiating the final price. This is not generally the case in Germany. We ask you therefore to respect the fact that only a moderate level of price negotiation is possible.
Yes. Our service does not end at the point of sale. We assist with stable recommendations in Germany if the horse requires additional training before export, liaise with transport companies during transit, and through our worldwide network we can connect you with global network of trusted riders, coaches, and veterinarians local to you, wherever you are based. We remain available for any questions during the settling-in period. Many of our clients return to us for their next horse, that is the relationship we aim to build.
